Dont see how you can play this game without controller support. I assumed it would support the controller its pretty difficult to control it by just using the iPad and touch screen.

This remarkable remake of the old Genesis version has taken a simple idea and modernized it with 3D graphics. The 3D environment takes getting used to. It takes getting used to jumping around in 3D space. I have experienced my own fatalities desperately trying to jump around in a fast-paced frantic race against the raging waterfall that threatened my every carefully timed jumps. The controls use the touch screen interface. It works surprisingly well and pretty accurate. One advantage of being a new player is reminding myself that as a new player, allow myself the opportunity to "learn" the layout of the land. Its the learning part that many will find frustrating. Patience, Practice and Persistence (the 3 Ps) will empower you to Prevail. Castle of Illusion is a great game with awesome graphics, but has just one flaw... No background music plays whatsoever! Please fix the audio and I will update my review! Thanks!

Beautiful and simple, this is one of the best platformers of the AppStore! A full game for a good price! No in-app purchases is one of the reasons of this game beeing so good! And finally, a good story, good graphics and perfect soundtrack! Congratulations!

The game plays alright, its a good revival from the original game (that I love so much). Except the game doesnt have music! The game feels empty like this. Its good, Im almost finishing it but it doesnt feel right, which is a shame. I just wish I could hear the tunes. Please fix it!

Simply a amazing fun and well designed action/adventure platform game. Definitely the best Ive played on ios. The only thing that would make it better are hardware controls.

Great game, but at a certain part of the game, it keeps crashing. Also make it compatible with iPad 2. Otherwise its a great game

Im playing on ipad mini and I cant experience the game AT ALL IT CRASHES THE SECOND YOU GET PAST THE CUTSCENES unless they fix this bug its not worth wasting 10$ on something thats broken

I have the ipad mini with wifi and cellular and every time I open the app and click on the game to continue my play it closes and I cant play it! I loved what I got to play so far and would really like to continue playing so if you could get an update it would be greatly appreciated!
