Castle of Illusion App Reviews

I played this game sometime last year (2015) and loved it. There were some challenges at certain parts, but doable. Controls could be better on iPhone. I know theres a PC version, but Ive never played it so I cant compare- Im assuming that the PC controls are better to handle. I downloaded this game again partly because I was bored and I wanted to replay it. Here we are now a year later and theres no music and Im having issues with the narration. Only the opening part has music, but when Im playing the game, narration gets cut off all the time with no music. The only sounds I have are the noises Mickey makes and other character sounds. I wish they would fix/update it cause its not as fun playing without the soundtrack- the music fit well with the game. Once they update it, everything might be good. For now, Ill have to do 3 stars until they fix it.

Please add iOS 10 support. My phone wont play the soundtrack but I can hear the rest of the effects please fix this !

I seriously love this game. So much. I had it on my old phone and finally installed it after the switch. Im actually really disappointed about the soundtrack not playing. Music is how Disney brings magic to every element. And without that soundtrack, its just a cool game. Sure its fun and well done, but its not magical. Ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it didnt do anything. Please please please please please fix the track and other audio issues.

Great game but needs to update for the iPhone 7 plus

Its possibly the best platformer on iOS. The controls can sometimes be frustrating, but 95% of the time, the virtual stick works well. The graphics are mind boggling. Theres an insane amount of detail in every level. Its also a game that requires no waiting, or paywalls to have fun, which is a bit of a rarity these days. You immediately begin playing.

This game brings back many memories from the Sega Genesis era. The gameplay is smooth and very simple on the controls (similar to the classic ports of Sonic the Hedgehog games). The graphics are amazing and it gives that classic feel similar to Crash Bandicoot. While many have a hard time with the controls, thats not the case if you make the changes to your to liking in the options menu. I would give it 5 stars if the developers took some time to update it and optimize it for iOS 10+. The soundtrack will not play during gameplay which is probably a glitch and needs fixing, which Im experiencing using an iPhone 7. Other than that, I really love this game!

This game is cool but I wish they have it on Apple TV 4 that would be awesome.

Okay so I bought this game because I thought it would be fun. When I opened the game, it said it may slow down my iPhone so I had to delete it. So my suggestion is DO NOT GET THE GAME!!! I wish I did not buy the game because it wasted my iTunes money!!!!??????

Great game but its not the same without the audio.

This game is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING, colorful,and magical that it is so hard to put my iPad down. You should really really really really really really really get this game because it is soooo awesome. You get to explore many odd and unexpecting things that are out of this ?. And if you do not get this game, you will regret it!!!!!!!!

I bought this and it wont effing download WHAT THE HELL

I bought this for my kids but its too hard for them to control, they cant even get past the opening challenge. I would not recommend this for kids

Graphics are awesome but the controls are difficult.

This is an awesome game and the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the developers still havent added Apple TV support even though tvOS has been out for more than a year. Please add a tvOS version with support for MFi game controllers. These two things will bring this up to 5 stars for sure!

Want to to play but the controls are horrible. Please update this. Had to give up playing because I couldnt even control him jumping. So frustrating.

This game is amazing I am still trying to defeat Mizrabel but when you defeat her there should be more levels and for girls they should be Minnie not Mickey plz fix but other than that great game SOO DOWNLOAD!!!
