Castle of Illusion app good for
Great Game Overall, no crashes or glitches just a little tip make more check points, because if you almost finish the level and you fall off you have to go all the way back to the start which gets people aggravated such as me. Just 1 tip this game is excellent other than the tip.
This remarkable remake of the old Genesis version has taken a simple idea and modernized it with 3D graphics.
At first, it looks like a nice 2D side scrolling game, but when you arrive at the castle, you quickly discover that you are really playing in a 3D environment.
The controls use the touch screen interface.
It works surprisingly well and is pretty accurate.
Because this game is 3D, it is very easy to move your finger the wrong way. My tip is to always be aware of your control. Know which way you are attempting to move. Try not to get frustrated when the pace picks up.
One advantage of being a new player is to allow myself the opportunity to "learn" the layout of the land.
Its the learning part that many will find frustrating.
Patience, Practice and Persistence (the 3 Ps) will empower you to Prevail.
This game has many challenges.
First, play every level and rescue Minnie.
Second, collect all of the special items hidden in the various levels. This is more like a scavenger hunt and can be done at any time (even after beating the game).
Third, collect every diamond if you want (at least try to do it once).
Fourth, try to replay a level, not concerned with collecting anything - rather, just speed run and see how fast you can find the exit.
As you collect more items, you unlock portraits in the castle as well as statues!
While this glowing review merits 5 stars, sadly it does not.
Castle of Illusion is a great game with awesome graphics, but has just one flaw...
No background music plays whatsoever!
From my understanding, the background music used to work before Apple released iOS 9.
Without the background music, the atmosphere of this game does not exist.
It is very painful to play a game where a major part is broken.
Thus this game only deserves 4 stars.
Please fix the audio and I will update my review and rating.

So... This might just be on my iPad, but I have no audio! If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. But other than that. Great game!
Great Game!!!! One thing though. This game is very challenging . After 1 week, still on level one.
I like how this game is so realistic and fun! Its like youre the one going on an adventure! And the ending is really hard! ? I love this game, and I think every person should play it! ???
Some bad moments
It would be t least if I pay for this game at least Apple you need to download it so people can play since it was paid for! If this keeps up I will never buy another game , GET IT TOGETHER APPLE
Okay so I bought this game because I thought it would be fun. When I opened the game, it said it may slow down my iPhone so I had to delete it. So my suggestion is DO NOT GET THE GAME!!! I wish I did not buy the game because it wasted my iTunes money!!!!??????
I bought this for my kids but its too hard for them to control, they cant even get past the opening challenge. I would not recommend this for kids
Want to to play but the controls are horrible. Please update this. Had to give up playing because I couldnt even control him jumping. So frustrating.
